2011 Showtime

Once again London’s most notorious event space opens its doors to welcome excited party guests for an evening of entertainment and extravagance! Presenting ‘Showtime’ for the 2011 winter season, we have fused retro glamorous cinema features with state of the art, modern technology and contemporary furnishings.

Guests will arrive at the red carpet entrance to enjoy reception drinks in the VIP ‘backstage’ bar. Hanging prominently in the room is a large modern lighting feature drawing eyes up to the beautiful architecture of Old Billingsgate. Soft, black velvet seating and intricate gold lamps give the venue a vintage feel and enhance the relaxed atmosphere as guests mingle and chatter.

At the call for dinner guests pass under the twinkling mezzanine to find smartly dressed tables. The impact of the magnificent stage set and giant screens create a real buzz of excitement and intrigue over the visual spectacular that is yet to come.

The venue comes to life as an amazing band take to the stage. With a repertoire ranging from Dee-Lite to Dizzee Rascal’ the show has something for everyone and is guaranteed to get the even the disinclined dancers up on their feet. Funky, fresh and highly professional, Mad Hen have been working together as a band since 2001. Five full time musicians perform with a style of their own. Each member of the band brings something to this unique winning formula. Clients are always amazed at the incredible energy at which this band performs. Fronted by Helen York and Matthew James, who both have a huge wealth of experience in the entertainment industry, Mad Hen will set the dance floor alight with a great party set.
